The Mayfly fly reel is spooled with 40m (50 yards) of 20lb backing, a weight-forward 6 weight floating fly line and a 9’ (7lb) 3X tapered leader.
This size fly reel and line is designed to match a 6 weight fly rod. The peach coloured floating line is easily visible, supple, high floating and casts like a dream.
